This idea came to me after finishing A Stitcher’s Quaker. This is my favorite way to complete a sampler. Mathematical motifs came to mind. The Sierpiński triangle seemed like it could be easily re-created in cross stitch. It was the first original design that I finished. The whole thing is perfect. I added a few more symbols that were meaningful to me like the surface integral which looks like my initials S.S. I finished this one quickly in only a few weeks. It is about 2,000 stitches.
